Yessir, finished my final piece last night, played hooky from class, had a victory beer or six or seven with some long lost friends and my wonderful girlfriend at the Ravari Room. Lots of Faith No More, Stooges, and the Pixies were being played all night on the jukebox. Great night indeed.
I had a revelation yesterday driving to work that we hold our destinies in our own hands, we have to make things happen. I am the idsgruntled , bitter server where I work and my day is great until I get into the parking lot of that damn restuarant where everyday is like Groundhog's Day(Bill Murry) same customers getting the same thing leaving the same tip etc etc. I blame the owner, I blame the customers I curse and mope around the place usually. I am the only one keeping me there....Long story short I am driving to work listening to Ravi Shankar and everything just makes sense and work didn't bother me despite the seperate checks and average tips
Anyway I hope things stay that way, (the positiveness not the average tips)
