Well, we did it! We bought our 1-way tickets to Munich. We start loading shipping containers on the 20th and the final truck leaves for our U.S. storage unit on the 24th. We're hanging out for the weekend and we leave on the 26th for Munich.
We've already got a realtor lined up to meet us on the 27th to start looking at apartments. Once we find one, it'll only be 2 months before we have much to put in it. Oh well, we'll be in a new home.
Man, the apartments that we've been looking at on-line are amazing. Mostly top level places on par with lofts in Kansas City. Our biggest things are that we don't have to install a kitchen, storage for our bikes and a place to put the BBQ. Of course, access to the trains is cool too. More than likely we'll end up downtown somewhere.
