Here's today's update...
So, went and bought a new pair of tennies that I deperately needed...my old Adidas were long past their expiration date. The new Circa AL50's as shown above.
I feel pretty good after the long ride yesterday. Felt good enough to get up and run with Kera this morning. We did 45 mins. We're working up to the 1/2 marathon mark. Can't hurt.
Found something disturbing today... 29'er discrimination... the race that we're planning to race on Sunday, has 26" wheels as the max. size in their rules. I call.... BULLSHIT!! I've got an email in to the promoter in regards to same. We'll see what comes of it.
Didn't have to work today. My boss called last evening to report that there weren't many people signed up and there were no families for me to coddle. Therefore, would I mind taking the day off. Hell no! I got nothing done yesterday, so today was an errand and work on bikes day. Got Kera's pretty much done. Now, I need to grease my EBB (eccentric bottom-bracket) and change out the front disk brake pads on my bike.

Yeah, I also find the WC very enjoyable. Great atmosphere in the city. A lot more relaxed than I expected. And the german team is much better than I thought they would be.
Recording is really easy, actually. This is the first time we're recording as a full group in our practice space/studio, which we have had for two years now and the place is just really comfortable. No distractions, no stress. It's great.
So yeah, everything's hunky dory, except I got this girl stuck in my head and I'm not sure what to do about it. Ah, I guess, time will tell.
