Germany update....
My first mountain bike ride in Germany turned out to be in Northern Italy. Two new friends and I drove down to Bozen, Italy yesterday morning and we took a gondola up the side of a mountain and then did downhill runs to town.
For those that don't know, I ride a rigid forked single-speed. One guy had a downhill bike with 8" of travel on the front and maybe 5"-6" of travel on the rear. Somehow, I managed to have a blast and not kill myself. Believe me, I'm not really sure how I accomplished it.
Other news... we're currently attempting to sleep on a leaky air mattress while we wait for the rest of our stuff to get here in a shipping container from America. I can tell you this... it puts a major cramp in the fucking! Mutual masturbation is about as good as it gets folks. Grrr! Kera even said to me the other day... "I can hardly wait to get a proper bed so that I can get a decent screwing". We might resort to the one rug in the house for a proper screwing soon.
Ikea in Germany is very cool and sucks simulaneously. They don't take credit cards. What they take is their own card or something called an EC (Euro Card) card. Yes, it's redundant. Anyway, made the hour trek out there from our apartment, loaded up our cart (fully) and overheard someone ask an employee about taking cards... You can guess from here. Anyway, we tried to get money out of Kera's account, but her bank had cut her off since they'd seen "abnormal account activity" because they didn't realise we live here. I tried mine not realizing that the amount I was trying to get was over my daily withdrawel limit. Nothing! Fuck!
So we checked our available cash and came up with 125 Euros. We took out of the cart what we thought we either needed or could pay for and then checked out. The suck-ass part is knowing that we have to go back. Grrrr!
If you've never been to an Ikea... it's an experience. They're fucking huge and they design the stores so that you have to walk the entire maze to get out. Therefore, it's nothing to spend at least 3 hours in one. They also carry nearly everything that you could need/want for a house or apartment. Crazy!

Oh.. where in Munich is really good Mexican food or a really good Latte? Thanks!

Good coffee of any kind can be found at the Stadtcaf (here) . The Stadt Museum which the cafe is a part of has good exhibitions and a nice arthouse cinema. (do I sound like a travel guide, or what?)
And finally my band will be playing a show in early December at the Zerwirk Club (that's right in the center, close to Hofbruhaus), but I haven't got the date yet. I'll let you know. I'll also be djing with friends at that place on the 24th of november.
