I know... I just can't seem to find the 'right time or place'. We've talked about it a lot and it's all a formality, but I just need to buck-up and do it.

Yes, re-establishing my identity, that's it. One of the good things about the breakup was to find out that I really have good good friends, who I can fall back on if need be.

And about the ruining of a good frienship, I've almost done that, too. My first reaction after the split was to check on this girl that I've always had a mild crush on and she fell madly in love with me. Then I had to realise that there's no way I could deal with a new commitment right now. And that the only reason for me going out with her was to make myself feel better. She didn't like that. And I didn't like it either. But we're okay now.

I'll let you know when I find something out. Hopefully soon. It's only been a few days... 10 or so and we're both getting tired of waiting to hear anything difinitive.

Hi, I'm from munich. Just wanted to say welcome and if you have any questions just ask.

I think the basics have been covered in the thread in the sggermany group. Munich's expensive, good accomodation is not easy to find (try to find something close to the river, preferably south of the center). Job Situation is better than most parts of germany and there's lots of english speaking folks around.

Other than that munich's a really beautiful city, very clean (too much so for some). It's a little hard to crack, cause people are not what you would call open. Don't let that scare you. Once you've connected with the vibe it's really like a large village.

And if you love the outdoors and cycling you'll be very happy around here.

It's sooo fucking hot here today. I, finally, broke down and turned on the air conditioning. We're supposed to go for our regular Wednesday night ride but it's soo hot. It might actually feel better to move and get the breeze than to just sit and sweat.

Count down to final verification whether we're going to move or not.... 7-10 days and counting... in reverse.
