Well, got the birth certificate. Then made it back from Minnesota alive.

Now, it's the trip to Chicago to the Passport Agency. Man, this has been an expensive mistake. Expensive in terms of money and stress. Today, I feel as though I've been beaten up in an alley. I finally thought to check in to the airlines. By the time I drove, paid for gas,...

Oye! What a shitty day. Not anywhere near the scale of being in New Orleans or anything. However, due to the lost passport and the fact that I don't have a copy of my birth certificate I get to do about 1600 miles of driving in the next few days.

I'm currently in Minnesota to pick up a copy of the birth document. Friday, I...

Well, shipping and air containers are loaded and gone. That's a great thing except that Kera had the realization that my passport is quite likely on the shipping container. Therefore, we get to pay a couple of guys to unload the container, try to find the correct boxes, find the passport in those boxes and then reload the container.

If all that happens as planned,...

Weird... last weekend in the Kansas City house. We're finishing up dropping stuff off at Good Will, bike shops, friends for long term storage, etc. We've eaten out the last two weeks so we can see all of our friends before we go.

It's fun, but hectic. We're getting excited to have everything packed and gone. It'll be great to get on the plane on...

Well, we did it! We bought our 1-way tickets to Munich. We start loading shipping containers on the 20th and the final truck leaves for our U.S. storage unit on the 24th. We're hanging out for the weekend and we leave on the 26th for Munich.

We've already got a realtor lined up to meet us on the 27th to start looking at apartments. Once...

I'm all sorts of excited today. Yes... the girls are hot as usual. What's really got me all giddy is that I'm looking at Suicide Girls on my new i-Book G4. Damn... amazing what 10 years and millions of colors vs. a few thousands will do. It's also soooo much fast than my old PC.

This is my first adventure in to Mac's. Wow! They're...

The Mac thing is, finally, catching on for me. I still haven't figured out how to, EASILY, move everything from my PC, with the non-working CD burner to the Mac. When that's solved, I'll be a happy camper.

SarahJane... buy one when you can afford it. It's pretty damn cool!

Thanks for the kind words of congratulations... The nice thing is that I don't feel any different now than I did before we said "I do". I think that's one of the best parts of our relationship... it just works, seemingly, without question.

Germany... well, the paperwork is beginning in earnest. Sounds as though they want us there by Oct. 1. However, German classes start...

I could have translated that thing but a great part of its humor is how he makes those words rhyme and it just doesn't work in english. The title of the book translates to "The sky is blue. So Am I." Which is nice already but then you have to know that the idiom "to be blue/blau sein" in german actually means to be drunk. It's all wordplay.

Yeah, feeling much better now. Life goes on and life is good. Thanks for your kind words.

Well, I am a married man. Wow, how life changes! The wedding went well and we both had a fantastic time. It was great to have most of our family and friends there to help celebrate.

Kera looked absolutely beautiful in her dress. As soon as I get some pictures, I'll post some.

I also managed to pull out a 1st place in my off-road...

Countdown continues. T minus 2 days. The in-laws are on the way from the airport.

Added a few new pictures. In the body parts folder, don't look if you don't want to see my naughty bits. I'd like to do a Suicide Boys pic thang sometime. Otherwise, I added a pic or two of my fixie to the Stuff folder and a couple of other...
