Put a few new pics of my pooch up for Zwiebel and because my dog a lot. She was a close to a kid as I'll probably ever have. After having her for 8 years, I had to leave her with my Ex. It was tough, but Vena was getting old and the Ex has a right to her as well. Not only that, it'd...

Pictures of my dog
Got our stuff from the states on Friday. Woo-hoo! Of course, our apartment now looks like it was hit by the box bomb. Tomorrow, the kitchen people come and install our kitchen.
Also on tomorrow's agenda is enrolling for the next level of Deutsch classes. I'm still not sure that it's the smartest thing, but without really knowing where else to turn, that's what I...

Had to leave her home with the Ex-wife. It was tough, but she's 12 years old; about 3-4 longer than most of the breed lasts.
Unfortunately, in 8 years I never got a picture of her "smiling". She did it when she saw people that she recognized. It looked pretty ferocious to those that didn't realize what it meant.
At least I know that my Ex is taking good care of her. My Ex is a prof. gardener and takes the dog everywhere with her. Therefore she gets lots of exercise and love.
I'll post a couple of pics.

Apparantly my immune system has given it's resignation so I'm currently fighting two separate infections plus the usual female stuff. Lemme tell ya, it's a party up in here.
Rosario Dawson.... fuck she's hot!
Anyway, lazy day in Munich after a drunky night out drinking all manner of things. It's also a rainy holiday here. Good day to laze around, walk the city, eat and window shop. They take their holiday's very seriously here. Essentially, the only things allowed to be open are bars, cafe's and restaurants.

I forgot to mention a couple of things...
1. We finally gave in to the lack of a decent bed.. the new Ikea rugs work well for fucking.
2. There are truly an amazing number of beautiful asses in Munich. Most women wear jeans and pants that might as well be made out of cellophane. I ain't complainin'! Some lovely thongs peeking out and saying...

7 Thing that you can't say in Kindergarten
Went on a long mountain bike ride with some of the English speaking locals and ex-pats. We must've ridden 45-50 miles by the time it was done. It sure felt like it if we didn't. We rode along the Isar river here in Munich for most of the ride.

Pulled the classic "this will be funny later" move yesterday. The story goes like this.... I'm the laundry guy at home. So, yesterday after class I came home and got the laundry ready to wash. Our wash room is 5 floors down in the basement (no elevator). We only have 1 washer and one dryer. Therefore, it takes a few runs up and down the...

School is getting better. Now that we're starting to use practical application as opposed to pure rules and theory, I'm getting much more comfortable. Sometimes, it really sucks to be a non-linear thinker. Often, I have to be shown why something is the way that someone is telling me. Must be my small problem with authority.
Still on the leaky air mattress. Good news though......

Germany update....
My first mountain bike ride in Germany turned out to be in Northern Italy. Two new friends and I drove down to Bozen, Italy yesterday morning and we took a gondola up the side of a mountain and then did downhill runs to town.
For those that don't know, I ride a rigid forked single-speed. One guy had a downhill bike with 8"...

Have no recommendations to make about mexican food. I really love it but it's way to expensive in munich. Apparently (according to my coworker) there's a place on Leopoldstr. next to the Marmorhaus-Cinema (between Giselastr. and Mnchner Freiheit) that's decent and affordable.
Good coffee of any kind can be found at the Stadtcaf (here) . The Stadt Museum which the cafe is a part of has good exhibitions and a nice arthouse cinema. (do I sound like a travel guide, or what?)
And finally my band will be playing a show in early December at the Zerwirk Club (that's right in the center, close to Hofbruhaus), but I haven't got the date yet. I'll let you know. I'll also be djing with friends at that place on the 24th of november.

A hell day in school. Being the 'typical' American, I've never learned another language. The idea of masculine/feminine/nueter nouns is completely foreign to me. Along with that are the various versions of verbs... Ugh! Kicking my fucking ass!
On a good note... we got our residency papers today. Glad we had lawyers to help us. As it was, we had 4 mini-meetings, one wrong person...

Ha, german is a very complicated language. And it doesn't help that most germans will rather speak english with you than german. Don't know why that is but you'll find out that if you want to improve your conversational skills you'll have to force us to talk german with you.
I took the kids for a looong walk up the river today, from thalkirchen to the bridge at fraunhoferstrae. Beautiful fall day. You should go there some time. There's one spot where apparently someone build a little tower from the rocks and small boulders lying around there and started a mass movement. Now there's a field of stonetowers, at least 50, ranging from 30 cm up to over 3 meters height. Looks amazing.

Hey Wunnspeed ! Sorry I missed you this weekend.. Yep German is complicated, and it's easy to be lazy when everyone speaks such good English..
Is the weather still good?
We go tomorrow to sign our lease on the new apartment. Yeah! We move in on the 15th. They'll build the new kitchen sometime around the time we move in. It'll be great to have a place to call our own. It's an amazing two floor apt. in Schwabing. One of the best parts is that it's next to a bike shop... at least for...

One of my majors IS a language... which I just totally blew a test on. Fucking hell...
I'm, finally, here! We're now Munich residents. Woo-hoo!
I went to my first German class today. Man, I missed a lot in a week. I'll have to make it up somehow.
Looks like we've got an apartment in Schwabing right by a bike shop. I'll have to attempt to make friends with them.
Just a quick update. Will do more when I can.
Be safe...
