Hectic week culminating in yet another trip out of town. This time it's venturing far upstate into the veritable wilds of Western New York. It's high school reunion time. There are one or two people I hope to see. The rest will be, one hopes, a pleasant surprise.
Obligatory stop at the home of the parental units. So it goes. I really should call and let them know I and significant other are coming. Well, that's why they make cell phones and mornings already on the road.
Really should be asleep already. Napping while driving is frowned upon in these parts. Of course, so is texting and reading e-mail at the wheel, but that doesn't stop much of anyone as far as I can tell.
A long journey into night. Perchance a night's journey beyond longing.
