Good last few days. I saw Loisiana's band play on Thursday night. They play mostly folk rock. I met Louisiana for the first time, and hopefully not the last. She's so down to earth and easy to talk to. I'm very impressed with her. I'm really glad I went.

Had dinner and conversation with my daughter, Heather, Friday evening. I'm so glad that we have such a close relationship. I obviously can't talk to her about certain "special" things that are part of my life. Aside from that, we can discuss almost anything with each other. She's more than a daughter to me, she's a great friend too.

Went to the fair with a friend yesterday. Besides the cost of admission, it wasn't really necesary to spend any money there. There were free shows, demostrations and other things to see and do. It was a beautiful day weatherwise. We stayed about four hours.

Since the fair was in the neighborhood that both of us live in, there was no need to drive there. We wound up taking a long walk and talking. Most of you don't realize that in real life I tend to be quite the blabbermouth. Luckily my friend is more of a "listener", so it all worked out.

We wound up walking to a movie theater and decided to see something. We were feeling pretty goofy, so we decided to see a "slasher" movie called Sorority Row. In the mood that we were in, we actually liked the movie very much.

So it was a nice few days for a change. Except for the way I was feeling when I posted what I did two blogs ago, i've been feeling better and definitely more energized. I've been more conscious of my desire to get back into finding a woman I can be compatible with that could possibly lead to a lot more.

I'm not feeling my age at all as I type this. I've still got a lot of living to do and am anxious to get started again.

I doubt that any of this would be possible without all of you. You're one of the best things that's ever happened to me.
