I was supposed to have a tooth pulled next Friday. Last night, I had the most excruciating pain i'd ever felt. My gums around the bad tooth swelled up and really hurt. If I touched the area with my finger or my tongue, i was in agony.
I got a hold of my dentist by calling an emergency number. He told me to come in first thing this morning. I have an infection and the lower right side of my face is twice as big as it should be The dentist gave me a prescription for an antibiotic and a painkiller. Since it's Sunday, the drug store I go to doesn't open until 11:00. I'm heading over there right after I post this.
The extraction is still scheduled for Friday. Yet another wonderful thing to look forward to. Yuck!

My dad had two root canals done in 3 weeks. Bad teeth suck.

I'm hoping that with the meds the pain is manageble. Waiting until Friday for an extraction has to feel like an eternity. Take care. Hugs!
