I couldn't sleep at all last night. I tossed and turned and got out of bed about five times. No luck. I went on SG about 6:30, replied to a pm, posted a comment and went back to bed to try to fall asleep one more time. I had to get up soon and was dreading having to drag myself around all day not having slept.

I remember looking at the clock radio. It was 7:02. I must have slipped into a deep sleep right after. I had a dream that I needed to describe before I forgot the details.

I found myself in a garden with flowers everywhere. I particularly remember lots of pink and purple ones. Out of nowhere, Annette appeared. She looked exactly as I remember her. She was wearing dark brown slacks, a burnt orange shirt and brown shoes. She had her glasses on, causing me to remind myself how even more beautiful she looked once she began wearing them.

She took me by the hand as we sat down on a marble bench. She told me that she had been watching over me and was aware of everything I'd been doing. She wanted to know what I was feeling inside all this time. I told her how empty and alone I felt since she left me.

She then took me in her arms and held me without saying another word. Suddenly I realized that I was wide awake. I looked at the clock. It was 7:20.
