I want to thank everyone who responded so wonderfully to my last blog. I kept it up longer than any other I've ever posted. It was very emotional for me to write. I was glad that I could put a positive take on something that has affected me so terribly. I'm grateful that I was able to talk about Annette in a celebratory manner instead of the previous sad and depressing ways I expressed myself when mentioning her passing.

As some of you know, I'm participating in a treatment and recovery program for my depression. It's really helping. I'm looking forward to being placed in part-time employment in a few weks. Not only will it help by providing me with a little extra cash, but will go a long way toward improving my self worth.

I've befriended a woman recently that's also part of the program. We've been spending increasingly more time talking with each passing day. Her name is Zonora. She's from Trinidad-Tobago. She's a realyy sweet and gentle person. We plan to go to lunch together next week.

I'm not anticipating anything other than cultivating a friendship with her. It's a nice feeling to just be able to spend some casual time with a woman after what turned out to be a disaster as far as my relationship with Mae-Ann was concerned.

I'm very happy to be able to share the latest good news with my friends. Thank you all for being there for me in so many ways.
