I attended an SGNY event last night. It was a celebration of Makeupandsin's birthday. While I wanted to go, I was somewhat reluctant. I wasn't sure I would fit in all that well. I had some concerns about fitting in with all those young people that would be there. What finally convinced me to go was that Lyrical suggested that I should.

Of the people that were there, I already had met luna, Vimes, and NadzOfSteel. Besides the birthday girl and her boyfriend, I met Kaikai, siamkittie, Errance, Gonzoe, Jack Skellington, and LolaBlu. I hope I didn't leave anyone out.

Lyrical made sure that she introduced me to everyone. You know what? I wound up having a really good time. I managed to get to speak with everyone. They were all so nice and friendly. I felt very comfortable once I got into the swing of things. I'm very glad I went. Thank you Lyrical for the encouragement.

My relationship with Mae-Ann is continuing to flourish. I'm so fortunate that I found someone to love and who loves and cares about me the way she does. Six months ago, I would never have believed I would ever experience something like this again in my life.
