Okay. Enough with the sad blogs.
I'm looking forward to next Friday big time. My older daughter and my grandchildren are coming in from North Carolina. The three of them are staying up here for 10 days. My son in law will be coming in the following Friday and spending the weekend.
My daughter has friends in New York that she will be visiting part of the time. That means I will be babysitting. I'm gointg to love playing Grampa.
My younger daughter has some great ideas about things for all of us to do. Some of the activities include visits to the Children's Museum and the Bronx Zoo. Lyrical mentioned that there's free admission to the zoo on Wednesdays, so that's probably the day of the week we will go.
Speaking of Lyrical. I met up with her on Friday afternoon. We had lunch and then sat outside of a Satrbucks and talked for a good while about lots of stuff. On a negative note, she bit down on something and got a bad pain in her tooth. We got some ice and Advil. After a while, the pain went away. Aside from that setback, we had a pleasant afternoon together. I'm very happy to have my friend back in my life.

The funny thing about these matters is that oftentimes members will come back to SG after leaving for an indefinite period of time. Perhaps he will come back, too.

I'm glad that things are going well with your family. My sister recently visited from overseas and my mother is in town for that reason, so it was nice to see them.
