It's so hard to read some of my friends' blogs lately. Too many good people are dealing with death, illness, financial problems and relationship issues. It's tough to take sometimes.
On the other hand, I see so much strength emanating from these same people. I try to give these friends as much support as I can. I know how important a kind word and a good thought can mean when things are difficult. I recall how much those sentiments meant to me when I had my health issues. I've tried to give back the same as I received. I can only hope I can help in my small way.
I often remind myself that being a member of SG would never have been on my radar if not for a total fluke. If I had not listened to the suggestion of my friend, Lyrical, I would never have found this great site nor would I have met such good people. Interesting how life works sometimes.
