Another hard weekend gone, but it was bearable because I had a happy thought to hold onto: our short film scripts are going to be read tomorrow (well, today now)! I'm really excited to hear mine and everyone else's, and I wonder what actors will do the readings? So much to look forward to!

Went to see Batman Begins the other day. Now, at our school we study films in great depth. We are expected to analyse technical achievement, social ramifications, psychoanalytical symbolism and underlying meaning. Using all the tools my education has provided for me, I have critiqued the film, and my assessment is thus:
It. Is. The. Shit.

Go and see it now if you haven't. And if you have, go see it again. It's a magnificent rebirth that truly washes out the bad taste of the last two Batman films from your mouth.
