Well, it's over. Ginny's found an opportunity for a job in Singapore (her homeland), and she's taking it. Apparently we work better as friends, she said - news to me, but okay. We weren't really close enough for any sort of goodbye, tearful or not, so that's that.

I'm not really depressed. Maybe a little, but certainly less so than the last time - and I'm not sure whether it's me maturing as a human being, lowering my expectations, or if I'm just getting numb to it all...

The this might be going somewhere vibe was nice to have for once. I'm going to miss it.


It's times like these that I wish I had a cat.

In other news, my brother Matt came to see our plays last night, and enjoyed them. He got me a bottle of sparkling white wine (not champagne ) for my play being a success, and I gave him his birthday present, one of the new Sin City graphic novel rereleases, The Hard Goodbye. My new place is quite close to his place now, so we hung out, had some (canned, but still good) curry for dinner and talked. It was nice.

I'm up to my eyeballs in late and up-and-coming assignments. But at least my short film script is on track, handed it in yesterday. It's going to be a doozy!
