I heard Michael Urban on Chronicle Live say that the A's will have a better bullpen then the Giants in 2011. He also said they have a better chance of winning their division than the Giants. Not sure I agree with that last part, but I thought it was interesting. They still need some power offense, though. I'd say they're at about where the Giants were in 2009. Maybe a little ahead of that.
