Yesterday was a day of firsts.

I got my first pair of Chucks (black hi-tops, I haven't had hi top anything since I was a kid).

I got lead jammer at the bout last night (not a big deal to experienced rollergirls but a huge accomplishment for me - my captain was gushing about how proud she was all night).

I got my first patch of fishnet burn (shocking since I fall down A LOT).

I also went to speak to an admissions advisor at a local tech school. If there are any vet techs out there who have advice or anecdotes to share about their schooling, please share them.

I am going to eat pancakes now. I'M STARVING.
