Oh, well.
Derby tryouts were BANANAS. I have never worked so hard at anything or sweated so much. At one point I thought I was going to pass out right on the track.
There were 68 girls there trying out for 30 spots. The coaches said we all kicked ass - that they had never had such a good group for tryouts.
So I didn't make it, but it wasn't for lack of trying. I almost made it, but not quite.
