Today was my first day of Bakery training.
It was pretty good. It's nice to have a tangible end product after a long day at work. That's hard to find in retail. The deli lead was a dick, though. I'm glad I only have to deal with him for a couple of weeks. I can't stand people who think they're the Second Coming of Christ just because they got a quasi-supervisory job at Wal-Mart.
The deli lead at my store is a very sweet, quiet guy who I think will be very easy to get along with.
The guy who does the packaging at the Bakery I am training at is blind. It's pretty awesome to watch him work. I've never worked with someone who is blind, so it's hard for me to remember to say "hey, Troy, I moved your lables" and "watch out for that box, I accidentally kicked it toward you", but I'm getting used to it.
I am very very tired now, and am going to go to bed.
