In a way, it makes things easier that this was something that waty sprung on me. I get to skip to the end almost. Sure it's ahrd, but I can't iamgine what it was like for the poor guy and the friends who were there with him the whole time, so I can understand why you'd be reluctant to tell your friend.

So the recommedation from Perversia worked (do work while drunk) , I got in at about 12 tonight, talkd to my mate for about an hour and then started on a report for a project due on Friday. And i've just finished it!!!! biggrin biggrin
