Thanks, will check it out. Basically I need to record answering messages for a phone system, but the Cisco that plays back the messages seems to amplify background noise massively so that even though it sounds fine on the desktop, it sounds rubbish when played back through the phone handset. I either need an impeccable recording, or failing that, remove all the background noise from the recording. *shrugs*

I never really liked puter games...
but Vicky bought an x-box, so it would have been rude not to play it!
