I use this blog as a diary, to make sure I don't forget any good ideas or thoughts. This one I really don't want to forget to get started.
I'm starting a business that will offer guitar/bass/keyboard tech services. From spec'ing and setting up rigs to building custom hardcases, speaker cabinets and cables. Having many friends and other engineers (including a world class producer) ask my advice on these very subjects has made this decision a rather natural one. Once I've gotten the full details together and worked out a price list I will get a website up and running.
If anyone has any ideas of what other services I should offer then let me know, I really would like to make this a success.
Tommorow I'm going to get started on designing my flight cases and cables and price up the tools I'll need to buy (might be able to get my dad to buy them for me as he's got trade accounts with hardware stores)
