Well, I'm not too sure anybody will even see this. I have not had much time just yet to expose myself (no pun intended) throughout the site. I just joined on June 16th as a direct result of being blown away by the live burlesque show on June 11th in Ft Lauderdale. I just happened to see a poster advertising the show on my way out of the local underground record store, and was fiercely intrigued. So here I am.
While I'm typing away here, I just want to offer my best wishes to Johnny Ramone, who is losing his fight with cancer at the age of 55. Johnny was the guitarist for the Ramones, a band that paved the road for, and inspired, many of the bands listed right here on SuicideGirls.com in the "Favorite Bands" field in the profiles. With the recent death of Joey Ramone (2001, cancer) and Dee Dee Ramone (2002, O.D.) the punk world had taken a serious blow. Your thoughts and comments are more than welcome.
