I had nothing planned but a quiet a day of solitude and some intent writing. Then, at 10:30am, three minutes after putting my pants on, random friends began arriving for impromptu meals, fun, and frolicking, which has more or less gone on all day.

Friends can be great.

I am feeling really depressed, and I am not sure where this is coming from. It's bad. I haven't felt this way in seven years, and all of the sudden it's just all over me.
