So I've decided every week should have a three day weekend! I took yesterday off work to celebrate my doggy's birthday. We tooled around all day visiting the local parks and playing with his furry friends. I was as wiped as he was by the evening so I watched Braveheart on tv, sipped some Oban to get into the spirit of things, and got to bed by midnight.

Today, I was so refreshed by skipping that day of work that I was able to do several loads of laundry, give myself a haircut, whip up some hummus, and even bake a huge batch of cookies (all while periodically popping in back here) before heading out with Roo again. Now I'm waiting on a pizza and listening to the Habs and Leafs go at it.

Everything is done and I still have one more day to go! I might even get my taxes sorted out tomorrow!

On another note:

I wanted to break my rule about not choosing favourites because the charming Blyss was the first SG to leave a comment on my page here (ever) earlier today but it seems one has to choose five girls at a go. That will take a lot more thought on my part so my apologies to Blyss. I wanted to get you that much closer to the free SG toaster or whatever you get when enough members make you a favourite but for now you'll have to settle for the knowledge that I tried...
