So yeah, I can't play poker anymore.
For a long while, I was able to make a decent chunk of side change (half always given over to my missus) playing poker at the local card places. Never really lost, would push, win, push, win...
I decided lately that it's a waste of time, and last night confirmed it....spent 3 hours at a local spot with nothing positive to show for my time. I was out too late to get up and go skateboarding today, which is what I really wanted to do.
The extra money is nice and all, but not really worth my time...even when the money is big and rolling in, I feel like I've had those hours sucked out of my real life. A time when I could be skateboarding, reading, spending time with my girl or my dogs, making music/art, etc...
I really need some quality control over my own writing on here, but alas, I only picked up about four hours of inconsistent sleep last night, and am working on my first cup of mudd.
