I have good news, and I have bad news. In the tradition of going Howard Hughes on everyone, bad news first.
My SG membership will likely peter out at the end of this month. My bank is all transition-y, and it's come at about the end of the month. I'll be back, but I don't know when...so if any of the kickass folks I've met here want to keep up contact in the interim, I'd recommend using one of my other contact methods. They're all there underneath my mug.
Now that that's out of the way, there's some bonus stuff happening. Notably, I'm heading out to DC, up through NYC, and into Canadia through Niagra at the end of this month. The dates are the 28th through the 6th-ish. If anyone wants to say hi or see me in the flesh (rather than in the flash. HA!) and is gonna be 'round there 'round then, let me know so I can be all "HIGH FIVE!" and you can be all "Sweet, I got high-fived by some guy from 'sconsin!" And thus we will be living with the power of THE FUTURE.
The other sweet thing is somewhat old news, but it basically can be summed up with TRANSFORMERS LIVEACTION MOVIE EXTRAVAGANZA! Giant fighting robots done in computer animated glory? Could be badass. I'm not holding out high hopes, because the slated director is Michael "The Geographical Feature" Bay, but as long as it's not Uwe Boll, I think it may be safe to expect at least one "woohoo!" moment.
Oh, and I just watched a pre-Green-Ranger episode of Power Rangers. Why? Because the remote is all the way over there....
In other news, I just figured out how to self-publish. Who is going to be selling his works of art for much less than they're worth? ME IS!
