So I talked to my mother today, she seems to be doing well considering she is having Surgery on Friday to remove a Tumor.. I plan to go on Saturday to the Hospital as well as spend the weekend with my Dad, besides he doesn't know how to cook lol
As mentioned previously, my plan was to fire the contract person I have working for me, but apparently my HR department had to send a quick update/note to our Legal department in the US just to give them heads up in case this contractor thinks she can take us to Court.. I have cause to get rid of her so it is just a formality but now it will have to wait till tomorrow.. I don't get any joy out of doing this but you can only talk so much before you decide to cut your losses.
Then I work on getting my approvals to hire 2 replacements on Perm Full Time, I am hopeful this will go through just may take a month or so of Politics and red tape ohh the joys of working for a large US conglomerate
