My new year's resolutions
yeah yeah, we all got them, here are mine......
1) Go to the gym at least 5 times a week.
2) No more soda, period. Even in mixed drinks.
3) Do at least 15 open mics this year. That's roughly one every 3 weeks so...eep!!

I'm OCD, surprise!
So I've spent the last few days fucking with this shield for my iPod to help stop it from scratching. It was great but there was 1 minor, *minor* flaw with it. So I took it off and now my iPod is all funky with this adhesive goo. It's actually not that bad, but still not perfect. I think I will return the shield for a new one and perhaps exchange my iPod for a new shiny one
But yeah, with electronics I am ultra paranoid and I treat them with greater care than I would treat a baby. I'm weird like that.
Stand up starting this week
Yup, time to get back in. Woo woo....probably *two* weekends from now I'll do another open mic. Come see me!!! I will post details ehre when I know them. But count on 2 weekends from now...the 13th.
I've had a weird hankering recently to "make" something. I wonder if there is a machine shop around here... current ideas are a transistor radio (pretty easy), computerized version of settlers of catan that is better than ones out there (pretty hard but pretty rewarding if I did it) or something wooden to hold....I dunno...DVDs?. Last time i got like this, I made a mechanical TV, heh. I'll see what I come up with.
