Small update this week and by small I mean large
Not much to say here really, sorry I haven't been around much lately. It's been a strange past weekend and week. A lot of isomnia and running around buying presents. I head home to Austin tomorrow morning, ass early. I'll be there until late Tuesday. Talk to you guys then.
Oh yeah, I got my Rose Bowl tickets today
Not as good of seats as I would have liked, but I'm sure they're awesome just because I'm gonna be there. Booya!
Overrate and Underrated Bands
So I got to thinking and yeah, there are a lot of bands that I think are really overrated. Now, not that they suck (although I would say most I will list do) but just that people think they are a lot better than they are or people like them now because it's cool to like them.

The Ramones (that's right Subrosa I said it. If this was 3-4 years ago I wouldn't have said so, but now, yes...very much so)

Deathcab for Cutie (totally ghey)

The Pixies (ok Subrosa is gonna kill me)

War on Christmas
Don't EVEN get me started on this one. Seriously, what THE fuck is wrong with our country that people listen to O'Reilly? I'm agnostic and no I don't celebrate a religious Christmas, if anything I more celebrate Festivus. Why are they pissed off at 'Happy Holidays'? If anything Christians should be pissed off at the commericialization and secularization of a humble religious holiday, NOT that someone wants to include other religions and holidays into an ad campaign. Fucking bigots, I despise the religious right!
Mood: Pretty sad and disappointed in myself and I know why. It really depresses me and I need it to stop....now.
