My last conversation with a great man, was more telling than I intially thought, and I am very saddened that I did not have the forethought to notify others of what was going on. I apologize to you for that, SocietysPliers, and to everyone who loved him. As some of you may have already read in the Geezer's board; I had a text conversation with SP last Tuesday. I am going to post that conversation here, word for word, as I believe that is what SP would have liked.

1:20AM SocietysPliers: Went into burning garage thinking someone was in there and my lungs collapsed in fire b4 xmas. Instead of taking the morphine they give me i save n crushed in

1:25AM Me: Holy shit! Collapsed lung? Did you suffer any burns beyond 2nd? Was the morphine/tequilia cocktail what made you vomit?

I got a new phone about 3 months ago and still havent finished importing numbers, so I wasn't sure who the first text was from. So I did a reverse look up. I saw the number was from Ocala and thought 'Oh Shit, that's SP' so I called right away. I'm glad you are feeling better. If you ever need to chat don't be afraid to call or text. I am here.

I did not post this to incite any drama, I am merely doing what I feel SP would have liked. From what I knew of him, this conversation summed up a good part of him, selfless and compassionate and a man wise enough to know his limits when he has reached them. I, for one am going to miss him greatly.

I missed the Geezer group message because I was just out of the hospital.
And this I dont think would start drama...and anyone that does can go to hell.
