I have been watching opera video's of the greats this week. Have you ever noticed how much strength and energy is running through them as they sing? I mean fuck those ladies (and men) are working hard. Im finding it helps me to know just how much I have to put into it. UNtil last year I had a very skewed idea of what singing was supposed to feel like.

In other news I was feelings lazy this week so I decided to do an eighties workout video just for kicks. Now I can't walk properly and I feel like a serious retard going down stairs. Damn those women with big bangs and their buns of steel. Pretty soon you might be albe to bounce quarters off my ass. Any takers? Im leaving the city on sunday. aaaaaaaahhhh getting out of the city is going to feel so good. I plan on playing with my kat and sitting in front of a fireplace most of the time. perhaps a little nookie ........or LOTS.

Question: Who's your favourite opera singer? I say KIRI Tekanawa but im biased

Oh, and opera, I grew up listening to:
The Beatles, Jacques Brel, Brassens... and Wagner.
Yep, my father is a big fan. Never Identified specific opera singers but Wagner - Siegfried, the sword, Fafner... nowadays, I show pieces of the Beyreuth festival to my kids when I talk about him in class ... then I show them the attack on the vietnamese village in "Apocalypse Now" to show what can Wagner inspire... (as a direct influence to Nietzsche)

and my ankle is pretty much healed.... from certain angles, it still has this nasty swollen look, though.
