Had a class on memory this week,. It got me thinking of many firsts. the two that stuck in my mind was my first french kiss and my first opera.

The smooth cold feel of the long hard stick in my hand, the way it moved with every little twitch of my wrist. The propulsion of every beat as I banged away. That oozing rhythm taking over my body and sending me into my own little pleasure world. Oh yeah baby, the first time I ever played the drums.
