Some days are really hard because I want so badly to believe people are basically good but so many people just defy that category. I just cannot understand (and really don't want to) the constant self-centered, apathetic lifestyle people live here. A couple of observations:

1. If you do not want to be a parent then don't have children. And by this statement I do not mean the default of being a parent just because you procreated. Being a parent means putting someone else's needs, wants, desires first.

2. As of today there has been 4154 American deaths in Iraq. This is not a statement for or against or republican or democrat. Just a statement to remind people that there are people willing to give their lives for something more then themselves. These people are the reason you can act self-centered, apathetic, and ignorant. They are the reason you can eat McDonalds until you weigh 400 pounds. Maybe take some time to reflect on their sacrifice.

3. So I went to Disneyland last weekend to run the Half Marathon their and seriously could we as a country get any fatter. The adults amaze me but the ones I feel bad for is the kids. I mean does you 4 year old need to weigh 100 pounds. Isn't this child abuse? Put down the cheeseburger and go for a walk!

Alright I feel a little better.
