I ran across this quote and considering the current state of affairs I thought it had a lot of meaning...

"Atrocity has no excuses, no mitigating arguement. Atrocity never balances or rectifies the past. Atrocity merely arms the future for more atrocity. It is self-perpetuating upon itself - a barbarous form of incest. Whoever commits atrocity also commits those future atrocities thus bred."

True. Violence begets violence. I find it sad that I believe that somewhere, sometime, someone has done every horrible thing I can imagine to another human. There are so many nutters out there that nearly no atrocity remains untouched. Sigh.... The world makes me sad. I'm going to go snuggle my kitty now. miao!!
