Dayton’s? Parent of Target, where is there still one of those? Minneapolis? Bet the meat raffles are popular nowadays?!
wolfetone11:
@skisby Hah! Yes, downtown Minneapolis. Dayton’s Store is long gone, but the sign is back as the building is being renovated into something called the Dayton’s Project. 🤷 Unfortunately, no meat raffles; all bars are closed in Minnesota and Wisconsin (gasps!) for social distancing.

Another bleak but beautiful day in Minnesota.

@ferkixlll yeah, that’s very true. It’ll be a while before the salt disappears unless we get some good rain. They mix it with sand here and it’s pretty dangerous to ride on.

Last winter I couldn't over that in Vt. they only put down the Salt No Sand AND DON'T Salt if below 20°F. as it is too cold to melt. Which means no traction on a Grade. **It is mostly why I choose to wait for a couple a good rain storms. Ride to Live.

Indeed... I loved long walks with my dogs. Didn't understand how some people used to go out just for a couple of minutes only to let their pets to do the toilet business and that's all. Not fair :)
