HOORAY!! My liuqin came today!! I've been strummin at it, tuning it up and getting over all excited about playing it.
Dragons wrap the bottom and a massive dragon head facing forward is on the back of the Liuqin.
Aside from that, all is well. Dresden has teeth and she is eating some regular food from time to time. Still taking babysteps (no pun intended). She is also walking holding onto our fingers for very little support and talking baby babble.
Couple people at work didn't know I was open minded (to say the least) and that cat is outta the bag. Went better than I thought. Most of the time it makes guys uncomfortable, but this time it went over pretty well.
Devon has shown an interest in Buddhism which I support and aside from the immense mental changes I'm wholeheartedly jumping in too. Biggest misconception is that its a religion, or certainly one where you worship a God or Deity. I won't bore you all with a massive breakdown, but essentially its just a morally based treat one another well and have a clear mind about things. Waaaaay oversimplified but thats kinda it in a nutshell.
We still from time to time discuss adding to our family with a significant other, but finding one person to be with is so hard... how does one go about finding someone for two?
I mean in the aspect of the other person its a pretty win win situation, place to live, not one but 2 people to confide in depending on what kind of person you need in that "situation". Like I get troubled sometimes and Devon's way of comfort isn't the kind I need, and getting it from friends isn't on the same level as someone yer close with on more than one level.
Where do you look for someone who wants to be a part of a strong relationship and not just a sexual fling? I mean thats a toughie.
Not that we're actively searching on a day to day basis... it'd just be so nice if we found someone we both clicked well with and started a strong bond with to be an equal in our relationship.
