woohoo!!! Birthday is sneakin up Dec.22 here I come.

.....ya not really all that excited. I'll be 24 and as of right now I'm jobless and searching. With the holidays I don't see openings til mid january if at all.

But when I look back at my odd luck, I never get off for my birthday and I was really hoping for it... and look what happened. My family and I are going on a lil vacation and I was worried I couldn't go cuz I'd just be getting past my 90days at my last job.. so in the end it all worked out in that aspect. I just don't like that I have to turn to friends and family for money. I'm no mooch, and I'm paying them back with interest even if they refuse it.

It's just amazing to me how much the holidays have changed so commercial. I told someone the other day the origin of Santa Claus and the real background story.... holy shit, they had the nerve to call bullshit on me? So we looked it all up and wha bam. Yes there is an actual Saint Nick who was a regular man who made toys for orphans and what not in his friggen town. Word spread and it was picked up like a trend.... marketing picked up on that crap at some point and it went from there.

The real basis is simply love and family. And for my birthday being so close I just want that too. Friends can be family. So to all of you who consider me a friend Happy Holidays and I hope it's one filled with warm memories.
