When I started at my job two and a half years ago, I signed on as a data entry clerk. Last January, I became salaried, got my own office, and was 'promoted'. But I never got my new title at work. I was still listed in the phone system and on our website as 'data entry clerk'. I now finally have my photo on our website under the heading 'On-line System Administrator'. Go me. So I'm finally doing what I'm paid to be doing. I'm very excited about this. I'm starting to feel like maybe I shouldn't dress like a homeless nerd at work anymore.... now that I sound all official. Hah!

As it turns out, they haven't updated our site yet, but I emailed the site to you. I work for an international sports organization, and I'm trying to keep some of the players (who might be SG members) from putting two and two together.

Went to a couple of college hockey games (have season tickets) Played some hockey today. Went up to our land for a bit today after hockey. Love being up there in the hills. Then hung out with the Redhead for a bit when I was passing through Canon City to come home. We drove up along skyline drive after it was dark. A very narrow very high up road... Imagine a spine of rock that is just wide enough for one car at the top... either side is a 1000 foot straight drop with no guard rails. Imagine driving it after shotgunning a few bowls and wishing they were really kisses.

Bought a bunch of groceries afterwards and chatting with ya... how much better could it be?

Actually, if you check out my pics, there are three from DanielK in there. Anyway, he shares a studio with danchick and he's the lucky man that shot the set with Heather and I.

I'm not doing a damn thing this weekend. Went to The Underground lastnight... didn't get home until 4:00 this morning. I'm too tired to do much more than drag myself around the apartment. Too much beer.... too many pretty, brightly colored cocktails. Tell me again why I do this to myself.

I would love to go to a CC game.... I will. Since I won't be seeing the Avs any time this season. Grrrrrrrr.

Oh my god . . . if you could bottle Puppy's Breath you'd be a rich man!! Or a breath spray that smells like Puppy's Breath?? It seems my little guy's mouth went from lovely Puppy Breath to Outhouse Breath of Doom overnight!!

I love the smell of wood stoves. I also like the smell of freshly cut grass. My daughter used to have scented crayons, and the green crayon was freshly cut grass scented. Have you ever seen a grown woman sniff crayons? You really should.

I have a wood burning fireplace in my apartment, but I have no idea how to light a fire that burns for more than 10 minutes. I'm deficient.
