My buddy told me I should post this story I sent him as my other journals were fairly bland. ;-)
No biggie... but it sorta both amused and annoyed me. We played the white team and they have this one guy that we all hate... Number 19. You can't look at the guy with out him either diving or yelling that you can't do that to him. He'll talk all kinds of mad shit during the game... not even good natured bantering... like when he wins face offs he'll puff out his chest and say "there's another one!" My first altercation with him was the last time we played them and out of the blue when a whistle blew a play dead he skates up to me and says "if you get your stick between my legs again, you're going down!" All I could come up with in the moment as a reply was a simple.. "shut the fuck up." (I double checked with the refs and the way I was playing the body on him as a defenseman is totally legal.) So last night if he would get the puck and come near me, I'd play him and not worry about the puck... so I'd get him tied up and he'd get all huffy and bitch and moan, "What are you doing????!!!!" My response, "Playing hockey, you should try it." So all game long I played him hard... pin him against the boards tie him up, basically frustrate him any way I could within the rules of the game. I did take one penalty against him for hitting or roughing... I asked the ref later to learn from my mistakes and the ref said that I was playing him fine, my positioning on him was good, but on that one play I went into him at the boards a little too hard... that I should go into the boards first... then move into him so it's not as hard of a hit against him... so that's cool. Anyways after the game... they beat us 4-2... we are all doing our center ice hand shake and he refuses to shake my hand when I said "good game" and put my hand out. First I said.. "What class you have." then I took another route... I told him I thought he was pretty sexy when he was unsportsman-like and we should get together after the game for some coffee and snuggling... He was not happy going off the ice when his teammates were ribbing
him about his new boyfriend

I'm starting to think this getting rid of stuff business is hopeless. Two giant trashbags filled with junk to get rid of today- and that was just one SIDE of my room! I still have the rest of the house and the rest of my room to go.
