Just lit the wood stove the landlord recently replaced. Has a few leaks. Not bad enough that my house was a smokey as a phish concert, but close. ;-)

Listening to a little Manitoba... interesting stuff. It's wanting to snow. I encourage it to do so.

Been ranting a lot lately about politics and religion. Well... sorta ranting. Threading or discussing I guess would be a better description.

Love the smell of woodsmoke. I'd make a cologne out of it.
Never really wear cologne but the ones I would wear would be ode de doo da:
- Skunk (3 day old not super fresh)
- Roasting Green Chilis.... If you've never stood over chilis sweating I feel for you.... heaven.
- Puppy's breath. I love the smell of puppies' breath!
- Curry
- and as mentioned Campfire.

What olfactory delights get you going?

Oh my god . . . if you could bottle Puppy's Breath you'd be a rich man!! Or a breath spray that smells like Puppy's Breath?? It seems my little guy's mouth went from lovely Puppy Breath to Outhouse Breath of Doom overnight!! puke

I love the smell of wood stoves. I also like the smell of freshly cut grass. My daughter used to have scented crayons, and the green crayon was freshly cut grass scented. Have you ever seen a grown woman sniff crayons? You really should.

I have a wood burning fireplace in my apartment, but I have no idea how to light a fire that burns for more than 10 minutes. I'm deficient. frown
