My cottage is like Raul's Wild Kingdom. Caught and removed a young squirrel from my bedroom today. More to come. they have been getting into the walls above my bead and keeping me awake... little bastiges... cute little bastiges.
Seems like so much has been going on... yet I don't have the wherewithall to type about it.
Pixies owned the universe Thusday night!!!!! So many cute girls of all ages... teens to milfs knowing all the words... I was in heaven. Kim Deal is so hardcore. Love her. Frank Black and all the girls screaming for him is proof that being fat, sweaty and bald can be overcome by rocking and rocking hardcore. Frank Black is much cooler than we'll ever hope to be. ;-)
concert was so good that when we got back into town at 2am... I just had to run to the emergency room to have the stapels removed.
It's Sunday now... I have a mama squirrel and two young uns up in my bedroom roof now. Landlord came by and sealed up where they were getting in. Problem is there will still these three... at least in the walls... so they threw a fit when they couldn't get out. I went in and removed the wood that was blocking them. Then after a while I went and there was Mama looking down the hole in the ceiling at me... the two young ones were climbing all over her checking things out. Vey cute... seem real family oriented... which makes me feel a bit bad for the one we orphaned yesterday. Landlord took him to a park. Hope he's ok. They are not babies, but not adults... juveniles I'd say. Given that there's three I'm not using the live trap... I just put a plank of wood leading from the hole to the window where I removed the screen... How much you want to bet instead of them going out I get a ton of new critters coming in? ;-)
I'd never seen a Jurassic 5 video until today... now you can too!

You're amazing for not killing the squirrels...not many people would be like I've got rats in my walls and they'r super cute! you've got a really empathetic touch man...good stuff...me? I'd have fed them decon filled apples if they didn't leave right away....I had a bird in the wall once and everytime it struggled my heart was like ouch...but we wouldn't do anything to get to it so it had to just slowly die. I can't livelike that knowing something dying slowly...i'd rather put it down. Anyways....sorry bout your rodents but you seem to like the furry ones!!!!!! happy trails mr man.
