Tryin to remain upbeat and positve when most around me are really depressed lately. I guess part of my deal is that I'm pretty empathetic and it can drain quite a bit of energy being surrounded and immersed in it. It's tough... you want to be supportive, but it's like stepping into a den of misery sometimes. I maintain pretty well... not whining... just feel bad for those locked in depression. I wish I could make it all chill...but I know I can't.

Just watched School of Rock. Pretty good. Kinda flat and schticky here and there, but I had a grin planted on my mug through most of it.

Should be a killer day tomorrow with the Avs playing, a round of golf, barbeque, and a band later. Maybe fit some pick up hockey in as well.

SamanthaKayne at the Supersuckers show here in the Springs. Tight band. Can't drop enough props. I would have loved to have seen the whole show, but I made the choice I had to make. The show started at 9 and I had a hockey game against the Colorado College Women's Hockey Team. Hockey chicks and a especially a whole team of college age hockey chicks win that choice everytime. ;-)
So I abandoned Sam for a couple of hours while I played. Came back and had missed most of the country set. ;-( But was stoked to see the complete rock set. Came in on the song Killer Weed. ;-)
