I've been gaining a reputation amongst my friends over the past year as someone who can open a bottle of champagne with a sword.
This is known as Saberage which apparently, was very popular in France during the Napoleonic Age where they use to celebrate victories by opening bottles of champagne with sabers which to me.. makes no sense. It's an incredible amount of fun though.. I've watched so many people fail at it and when it fails its hilarious cause its almost second nature for me.. (I've almost opened a bottle with a butter knife but thats pretty much impossible).
I've also heard that they hold competitions in France in which your rewarded a special color cloak depending on the size of bottle you chop.
Just a thing I do and think about.
