Righty. I bite the bullet. I start writing things here.
Things, in no particular order:
I promised my boy that I'd finish the jacket I'm making for him this weekend. It's 9:22 pm on Sunday and it's nowhere near finished . Actually I haven't worked on it since last night.
The main thing I've been doing instead of constructing a jacket is called "fun with hair colours". Interesting experiments but it turns out the bright red doesn't look as good as I remembered so I may yet end up back at the colour I started with.
This is where it is currently though:
I also volunteered to make a dress for my younger sister 3 weeks ago. She said it was fine if I didn't have time and all that stuff but I insisted. Now I'm running out of time and I'm really going to feel like a shit if I don't get it done. Ahh well, I left the last dress I made for her until the last minute and it was a hit.
Seven stripes down, twelve to go on the Ravenclaw scarf I'm knitting. I also am supposed to be finishing that in the next seven days. My grandma could've done it but I'm not sure I can. Knitting has to be the least efficient way of making clothes. I finished a Slytherin one last week. I started knitting it last April.
Reason for all the deadlines? PAX. It's going to be seriously awesome. Heading off to the US next Monday to spend time with the fabulous Ms Jinx (planned excursions thus far involve EB for Nintendogs and MAC for girly makeup shopping goodness). Then off up to PAX for, well, stuff. Fun PAXy stuff. I hear they make comics about games. Unfortunately I forgot to sign up in time to be a PAXsassin
