I did it!
I totally bullied/tricked myself finally into doing drop backs (like into bridge) unaided.
It did involve making my husband stand in front of me and pretend he was going to assist me and also I had to have a second yoga mat laid over my main one to drop back onto. Physically an extra 5mm of rubber isn't likely to make a difference if I fall on my head. Psychologically it makes plenty difference though.
I must be the craftiest motherfucker alive!
Now I'm so happy I'm not sure I can sleep.
