Oh god...friday was a heavy one...a few drinks after work, turned in to a few more drinks after work...what I find frustrating about that is just as I'm ready to make a night of it - everyone else decides they just wanna go home.

Anyway, there's a late night bar with a dance floor just down the road from me - so I went there myself...ended up having a really good night. It's quite a stigma in this country to just head out yourself...I wouldn't have done it if I hadn't already been 3 sheets to the wind.

I ended up pulling this lass and after the place closed we sat outside eating chips and messing around...she started off by saying "look, I dont do one night stands, I'm not coming home with you"....and I was like "I bloody know you're not, I don't do them either". Then after an hour she was "we could always go back to your place"....hahahaha. I ended up putting her in a taxi.

It's funny that...when I was younger you'd do all you could to get a chick to come back with you...now I just can't be arsed...I dont want it...and if I was to start seeing someone, I wouldn't want it to start like that.

In other news - I've been considering lately moving back to london. Guildford is lovely, but there's fuck all happening here. So....I applied for a new job.

Mmmmmm I wanted to *do* something this weekend...although I had no major plans...I spent most of yesterday feeling too rough to pretty much do anything...and today the rain is coming down in absolute sheets. Seems like a perfect day to hole up with a good book in a nice warm cosy flat.
