Everyone else is doing it, so why not me? ;) @rambo, @lyxzen and @missy have been assigning weekly blog topics for @bloghomework to get people into the habit of writing more often. This week's topic is "If you could run your own business, what would it be?"

For the last few years, I've had the dream of buying a plot of wilderness land somewhere and

Tell me... What are your favourite teas and books??

It's almost time for my next set! @felynx is one of my favourite people in the whole world. I've known her for about three years... We've gone on adventures together, we've drank together, we've traded books...

And now my second set with her is fast approaching. We shot this set back in August, in her home

@witchking FEE-lynx would be better, I think, but, you know, it's the young lady's call at the end of the day.  As for teas, I'm quite partial to Oolong and Earl Grey, although I'll admit it's been a while since I've had either as my better half isn't a huge fan.  As for books, most things by Bradbury ('Something Wicked This Way Comes' is a particular favourite), Dune by Frank Herbert, The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde by R L Stevenson, pretty much anything by Lovecraft etc.  There's so much out there and so much that has impressed/moved/inspired me that choosing an absolute favourite is a simply impossible task.  :)

Oh, and the pic of her sipping the tea is too sexy for words. Seriously.

It would be really great if my set with @feral69 could make it to the front page and be Set of the Day – please go have a look and fave and comment on the set:

Even if you've Liked/Commented already, more comments are always welcome. Feral69 lives in a very remote place where there are few photographers, and it'll be a long while

Not a very big mountain, but it was very steep. The photo above is shot from the mountain, looking at another hill, surrounded by the Thai city of Mae Sai.

What drew me to hike up this mountain was the sight of a giant Buddha statue at its summit. I had to get up there to see it. I searched the base for a trail,

I'm just going to frequently post random photos I've taken in the past – regardless of whether they're for SG or not – of some of my favourite models I've worked with.

This is Skye. Isn't she beautiful? I've had four photo shoots of her, though so far I've been unable to convince her to join SG. Oh well.

This is @daniirae – a fantastic Alberta gal I've worked with dozens of times – and now a Hopeful. Her debut set is still a month away, and I can't wait, so here's a pile of photos from other photo shoots I've done with her. Go visit her profile and follow her, if you like.

Oh, and this last photo was taken at the same

Ordinarily when I go to get my daily fix of noodle soup, there are four condiments on the table: fresh chilies, dried chilies, sugar and fish sauce.

At this place I found this morning, there were ten things to choose from! Including FRESH GARLIC – as well as crushed peanuts and six kinds of chilies. I'm fairly certain it was an excessive consumption of garlic

@dave11111 There's a lot of concrete in Thailand too, this is just a rural spot outside of the town.

The noodle soup looks delicious, and the view looks amazing.  It looks like quite the adventure.

I really really really want @cheshi to go pink. Our set has almost 1,400 likes and almost 300 comments. If we could just get it up to 1,500/400 likes/comments, I think it'll have a chance of making Set of the Day. Please please please, go like/comment the set:

TWILIGHT OF RUINS

Even if you've done so already, PLEASE comment again! More comments are always welcome.

Today I took a bus from Phayao to Chiang Rai, two cities of northern Thailand. These are just a few images of the front of the bus.

The dashboard of a bus in Thailand is like its own little temple, crowded with statues and figurines, pots of burnt incense sticks, flowers and other prayer offerings. It's beautiful in its chaos. My understanding is all of
